Venus Ground-Based image Active Archive
The Venus ground-based image Active Archive (VAA) allows you to upload and retrieve ground-based Venus observations
obtained in infrared, visual or ultraviolet light. The aim of this archive is to complement
the ongoing Venus Express (VEX)
spacecraft observations of Venus with worldwide ground-based images to allow for continuous monitoring of the planet.
Join the study of Venus!
Observations of Venus are commonly found on the internet. Unfortunately, they are often not suited for scientific use
because they are compressed (JPG), have text in them, are composed of multiple observations, lack information...
Therefore ESA/RSSD established this archive to collect images of Venus in such a way that they are useful for science - i.e. uncompressed, either in FITS or TIFF format,
with a set of predefined keywords to ensure that all the information is really there.
We now invite you to use this archive to share your observations with the scientific community.
When used, your work will be mentioned and properly credited in the related scientific publications!

Password Synchronization
The RSSD Web Portal provides a single login facility to simplify access to several other applications within this site.
The login facility has detected that you have passwords to one or more of these other systems (Livelink, Mantis, CVS, etc.) which do not match your current LDAP password.
By clicking on [SYNCHRONIZE] you will be able to reset all these passwords and bring them into line with your main portal password with no further effort on your part.
