s is typical in Manchester whenever there is a special astronomical
event the sky was cloudy! These images were taken through tiny holes in
an otherwise completely cloudy sky. We took about 60 images and only 3
had any stars on them at all. |

Time: 20h40m UT
Location: Linz, Austria
Exposure duration: 0.04 seconds / frame
Telescope: 50 cm f/10 Cassegrain
Camera: 12V1C-EX

Note: Although the time between the first and the last of these videos
is less than three minutes, Rosetta's apparent speed increased significantly
in that time: While Rosetta crosses the field in the first video sequence
in about 3.1 seconds, it takes only 2.6 seconds to do so in the second,
indicating an acceleration of about +20% in the apparent speed of the spacecraft.
