Finder charts

Overview

The figure below shows the sky as visible from the Netherlands in the evening of 04 Mar 2005, with the positions of the spacecraft marked in the map. It will start around 18 mag brightness, increasing to about 8 - 9 mag, becoming an easy binocular object.

Compared to the finder chart on top (showing the sky from Leiden, The Netherlands), Rosetta will be visible in slightly different positions depending on from where you look. The following links give more precise finder charts for some selected locations.
