To search the Hipparcos and Tycho-1 Catalogues

enter one of the following five search criteria:

Enter optional threshold Magnitude for search:

The above search on position (ICRS, epoch J1991.25) returns all objects centered on the given coordinate within a square region (width=2*Tolerance), listed in ascending RA and divided between Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogues.

You may also impose a magnitude limit on the entries which are returned. Field H5/T5, the V magnitude in the Johnson UBV photometric system, is used in this case. Only stars brighter than this magnitude will be returned from the search. (The limit is applied to both Hipparcos and Tycho stars.)

Or enter a specific Hipparcos (or HD) or Tycho Catalogue identifer to retrieve data with
field descriptions plus access to light curves, Double and Multiple Systems Annex
and Variability Annex (where appropriate).
